ABSTRACT: Close collaboration, easy access to information and delegation of responsibilities improve productivity, reduces cost and cuts down on errors. A desirable goal but very hard to achieve. Nearly three quarters of projects fail to deliver desired outcomes or benefits. People are increasingly mobile and globally connected while working on several projects at the same time. They need technology support that is secure, easy to access, and keeps them updated at all times. Project Management, which is a people centric discipline, is at the forefront of the latest technology advancements. Industry 4.0 revolution is a convergence of physical and digital world. Four of the Industry 4.0 technologies—cloud computing, cybersecurity, big data & predictive analytics, and integrated systems & scalable designs—are enabling the management and execution of projects in today's dynamic environment. These technologies are automating data gathering and analysis in context within a cyber secure environment for the team members, project manager and stakeholders alike.
